HarryCares Ticket Giveaway: Recipient Highlight

February 2nd, 2015.

Meet Kadiatu Barrie, one of the Recipients of the HarryCares Ticket Giveaway. She is a Grade 11 Honour Roll Student at Westview Centennial Secondary School in Toronto. A deserving student who excels in academics and athletics: she competes in Cross Country, Sr. Girls Basketball team, is the Captain of the Sr. Girls Volleyball team, and is the Communication Officer for a leadership group called Generation Change. She participated in a community Toy Drive delivered to women shelters, and she is also the athletic representative on student council at Westview with an aspiration of being a Lawyer someday.

  • 1 Student from Captain Michael Vandenbos Public School from the Whitby Community.

  • 2 students from Crowthers Secondary School.

HarryCares Ticket Giveaway

December 5th, 2014.

The HarryCares Ticket Giveaway: 

Starting from the Month of December 2014 to the end of the NBA regular season in 2015 a deserving student from the Toronto District School Board and other communities surrounding the Greater Toronto Area will be given the opportunity to attend a selected Toronto Raptors NBA Game at the ACC in Toronto. The students will be selected my their respective teachers/instructors based on their hard work in the classroom and respective communities while exhibiting other leadership qualities as evaluated by their instructors.

The recipient, and their guest will have the opportunity to sit court-side during the Raptors Pre-Game Shoot-Around before heading to their respective seats. This Initiative is a start of a great cause to reach out to neighboring communities around Toronto.
